Not “around 8:30”. A countdown that ticks down to zero, with the walk and a little spare time already in it.
03/06
Watch it come down the road toward your stop. If it’s running late, your countdown moves with it.

Phone in your pocket, or at the bottom of your bag. One buzz, one sentence, and you’re out the door.
05/06
Headphones in, eyes closed, no problem. A buzz tells you when your stop is coming.

If your bus doesn’t turn up, GoAus has already found the next best way and tells you what to do.

The plain facts, in one place.
GoAus is an independent public transport app that shows live bus, train and ferry times and tells you when to leave. It started in Brisbane.
Yes. GoSEQ was renamed GoAus on 26 October 2026. It is the same app, from the same team.
No. GoAus is independent. It uses TransLink's open data but isn't affiliated with or endorsed by TransLink, the Queensland Government or any transport operator.
GoAus is made by Isaac Erathnage, its founder, under E&D Collective, a student-run tech company in Brisbane. The GoAus team answers support questions.
Yes. Live times, trip planning and the leave-time countdown are free, with no ads. GoAus Pro (A$4.99 a month or A$44.99 a year) is optional, and every account can try it free for 14 days, once, with no card.
It started in South East Queensland and is now in testing across Queensland (including regional Queensland), New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory: every state and territory.
iPhone: open goaus.app/get in Safari and add it to your home screen; an App Store version comes later. Android: GoAus is in testing on Google Play. Any phone can also use it in the browser.
It shows live times, tells you when to leave, plans walking and bus trips, helps you check your stop, and lets you share a trip with someone you trust.
