Delete your GoSEQ account
- Open GoSEQ and go to the Me tab.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Delete account and enter your password.
When you delete your account, GoSEQ deletes straight away and permanently: your account and sign-in, synced settings and saved places, trip history and trip paths, shared and live trip links, your emergency contacts (and their numbers or email addresses), Get home safe and Help data, your family and mates connections, push notification tokens, trip ratings and “my bus was late” cards, and your Pro subscription (it is cancelled, so nothing more is charged). The payment provider (Stripe) is told to delete your customer record, with your name, email and saved card.
What is not deleted, and why:
- Payment and invoice records held by Stripe, and purchase records held by Google Play, the App Store or RevenueCat, which they and GoSEQ must keep for tax and accounting. GoSEQ’s own copy loses your account id.
- Text and email logs about alerts sent to your contacts lose your name and the message and are removed within 45 days. A contact’s STOP is remembered only as a one-way code, so it still works.
- GoSEQ’s internal activity log of changes made in the support console keeps the action but drops your account id and email. Chats you had with GoSEQ Support are handled under the support chat rules on the privacy page; ask for them to be erased too if you want that.
- Copies in database backups and caches fade out within 30 days.
A Google Play or App Store subscription can only be cancelled in that store: GoSEQ cannot do it for you, and the app tells you if one is still renewing.
If you can’t get into the app, email info@eanddcollective.com and we’ll delete it for you.
Taking your email off the “tell me when it’s out” list
That list is separate from an account. Every email we send has a link that takes you off it, or you can email info@eanddcollective.com and we’ll remove it.
