On iPhone? Open goaus.app/get in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen, like an app.

Started in Brisbane.
Live across Australia.

GoAus began in South East Queensland and is now open in every state and territory: one app that tells you when to leave, wherever you ride.

What it does on a normal day.

  • Running late

The 7:42 from King George Square was 6 min late.

GoAus showed it running late before you left home, with the live time counting down to the second.

  • Just missed it

Missed the bus at Roma Street?

GoAus finds a stop further along the same route that you can reach before the bus does: by lift, on foot or by bus.

  • Full bus

Riders reported the 340 as full.

You see it before it drives past, and can pick the next one with seats. Reports are unconfirmed and last about ten minutes.

Your Home screen.

Open GoAus and Home is already working. Your next trip sits on top with the leave time counting down to the second, then Get me home: one tap for the way back from wherever you are.

Below that are the buses near you, live, and an Ask GoAus bar where one sentence is a plan. When there is a forecast it sits beside the greeting, so rain can move your leave time.

Demo trip, public stops.

GoAus Home: the next trip counting down to when to leave, then Ask GoAus, Get me home and buses near you with live times.

Every mode, same countdown.

Bus, train, ferry or tram, Home counts down to when to leave, to the second.

Cutting it close?

Bus due in 1:30 and a few minutes from the stop? GoAus tells you it will be tight and counts it down. If you miss it, it finds a stop further along the same route that you can reach before the bus does.

GoAus at 8:21 am: Leave now, bus in 1:30, it will be tight.
03

Family and mates.

Share the trips you start with people you trust: which bus, when it’s due, and if it’s running late. Each person chooses what they share.

Demo family.

04

Running late? Show it.

If your bus was late, make a late slip: the timetable time, when it really arrived and the minutes between, checked against the live feed. Show it to a teacher or your boss.

Example slip.

GoAus late slip: a proof card showing the bus 13 minutes late.

Texts when you need them.

Sometimes you can’t open an app. GoAus can reach you, and the people you trust, by text.
